Attorney Lorraine McGrane works in the beautiful Hudson Valley, a place she has always called home. Focusing on special education law, child advocacy, and family court, she represents parents and supports their efforts on behalf of their children.
Ms. McGrane earned her J.D. from Vermont Law School and is licensed to practice law in New York State. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. McGrane had extensive experience working with children and youth in private and public schools as well as creating research-based systemic change for schools and communities.
Ms. McGrane puts her heart and soul into each and every case she accepts. She utilizes creative, out-of-the-box solutions, as well as her knowledge of education and family law, to serve her clients.
Ms. McGrane’s introduction to special education law began twenty five years ago while learning to advocate for her own child. She knows the challenge of being a self-educating parent while raising a child with learning disabilities. Her practice is dedicated to providing parents with legal representation and services that reflect that challenge. She takes pride in fighting for a fair outcome, while protecting the school-home relationship.
